- Proterogyrinus scheelei: CMNH 10950, a skeleton
- Mauchchunkia bassa: USNM 22573, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Greer, which is in an Arnsbergian terrestrial shale in the Bluefield Formation of West Virginia.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Greer (Carboniferous of West Virginia)
