Sister taxa: Weania insulana, Weania neso, Weania praecox, Weania semicircularis

Type specimen: F.7675 A-B U.N.E., a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is L76, Rangari Section, 6.2 km north, 2.5 km east of Kelvin, which is in a Hastarian carbonate limestone in the Rangari limestone Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at L76, Rangari Section, 6.2 km north, 2.5 km east of Kelvin
