Type specimen: MMF 12697a, AMF 50977, BMNH R3728, a partial skeleton (Skull table and partial postcranium ). Its type locality is Airly, near Capertee, which is in a Wuchiapingian deltaic shale in the Glen Davis Formation of Australia.

Distribution: found only at Airly, near Capertee
