Type specimen: SGM, RH 64, a tooth (m1 inf. dext.). Its type locality is Jebel Rhassoul, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in Morocco.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Jebel Rhassoul
