Type specimen: CNHM (FMNH) 151, a set of postcrania (limb elements and fragmentary vertebrae). Its type locality is Locality KP (San Angelo Fm.), which is in a Kungurian/Roadian terrestrial shale/conglomerate in the San Angelo Formation of Texas.

Distribution: found only at Locality KP (San Angelo Fm.)
