Type specimen: USNM 480321. Its type locality is Newell 1973 spot locality 4A, Baten beni Zid, Djebel Tebaga, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Oum el Afia Shale (?) Formation of Tunisia.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Newell 1973 spot locality 4A, Baten beni Zid, Djebel Tebaga
