Type specimen: CGM 83670, a mandible (left dentary with m1-m3). Its type locality is Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
Ecology: volant insectivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
