Type specimen: CGM 83672, a mandible (right dentary with p4-m3). Its type locality is Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: volant omnivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
