Type specimen: PIN No. 3101/09, a mandible (partial right mandible). Its type locality is Khovboor (PIN coll. 3101) [SMPE], which is in an Aptian/Albian lacustrine sandstone/claystone in the Dzunbain Formation of Mongolia.
