Type specimen: CNHM (FMNH) UR 495, a partial skull (part of temporal region, quadrate, pterygoid, maxilla, and four single, associated teeth). Its type locality is Locality KAC (Lower Flowerpot Shale), which is in a Kungurian/Roadian fluvial claystone/sandstone in the San Angelo Formation of Texas.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Locality KAC (Lower Flowerpot Shale)
