Type specimen: University of Alberta Geological Museum Ct. 570, a shell. Its type locality is Trapper Creek [Kaskapu Fm], which is in a Turonian/Coniacian marine shale in the Kaskapau Formation of Canada.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (2: British Columbia collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
