Type specimen: CM 11954, a partial skull. Its type locality is Leland Bench Wash, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Leland Bench Wash
