Type specimen: UCMP 15482 and 15483 (syntypes), a shell. Its type locality is UCMP 3792, Runkle Canyon, which is in a Thanetian marine siliciclastic in the Santa Susana Formation of California.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution:

• Paleocene of United States (3: California collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
