Sister taxon: Tarsodactylus caudatus

Type specimen: Hitchcock Cabinet, Dartmouth, a footprint. Its type locality is northeast Deerfield tracksite, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Portland Formation of Massachusetts.

Ecology: herbivore

Distribution: found only at northeast Deerfield tracksite
