Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: IVPP V8735, a partial skeleton (including slightly damaged skull and lower jaw, most dorsal vertebrae, incomplete pectoral and pelvic girdles, fore and hind limbs). Its type locality is Mazhen, which is in an Olenekian/Anisian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Heshanggou Formation of China.
