Type specimen: USNM 646213, a shell. Its type locality is TU 547 - Fourmile Creek, which is in a Burdigalian marine marl/sandstone in the Chipola Formation of Florida.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at TU 547 - Fourmile Creek
