Type specimen: IVPP V14725, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Wucaiwan pterosaur, which is in an Oxfordian alluvial fan mudstone in the Shishugou Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Wucaiwan pterosaur
