Type specimen: UMNH VP 18748, a mandible (left mandible with incisor and p4-m3). Its type locality is Utah Geological Survey Site 42Sv066v, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial siltstone in the Sevier Formation of Utah.
Ecology: ground dwelling granivore-browser
Distribution: found only at Utah Geological Survey Site 42Sv066v
