Type specimen: UMNH VP 18751, a mandible (right mandible with incisor and m1-m2). Its type locality is Utah Geological Survey Site 42Sv066v, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial siltstone in the Sevier Formation of Utah.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Utah Geological Survey Site 42Sv066v
