Type specimen: DT1-022, a tooth (left M1). Its type locality is Dor el Talha Idam, which is in a Bartonian/Eocene marine siltstone/sandstone in the Idam Unit Formation of Libya.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Dur At-Talah, DT-Loc. 1
