Belongs to Ischyrophyma according to H. B. Whittington 1965

Sister taxon: Ischyrophyma tuberculata

Type specimen: GSC 18465, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Table Point, "Middle Table Head", 50 feet, which is in a Chazyan slope limestone in the Table Cove Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Whiterockian of Canada (1: Newfoundland and Labrador collection)

• Chazyan of Canada (2: Newfoundland and Labrador)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
