Type specimen: ZR5-69, a mandible (right lower jaw fragment with M1–M3). Its type locality is Zallah 5, which is in an Oligocene fluvial-deltaic horizon in Libya.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Zallah 5
