Type specimen: GU/RSR/VAS 140, a mandible (right dentary fragment with P4-M2). Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.

Ecology: volant insectivore

Distribution: found only at Vastan Lignite Mine
