Type specimen: Its type locality is Yangtze Gorge, Yichang, Protoconus-Eosoconus assemblage, which is in a Meishucunian carbonate dolomite in the Huangshandong Formation of China
Distribution: found only at Yangtze Gorge, Yichang, Protoconus-Eosoconus assemblage
