Type specimen: Its type locality is USGS Loc3856 - Mossyhead [Shoal River Fm], which is in a Serravallian marine marl/sandstone in the Shoal River Formation of Florida.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
