Sister taxa: Ptiolinites cretaceus, Ptiolinites heidiae, Ptiolinites oudatchinae, Ptiolinites raypearcei

Type specimen: FGWG 137, an exoskeleton (female complete body). Its type locality is La Cabrua outcrop, Sierra del Montsec (Ansorge FGWG coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the la Pedrera de Rubies Formation of Spain.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at La Cabrua outcrop, Sierra del Montsec (Ansorge FGWG coll)
