Type specimen: Naturhist Ver. Bonn, 15(40), a wing (fore & hindwing). Its type locality is Altenwald mine, which is in a Westphalian C terrestrial shale/bituminous coal in the Lower Saarbrucker layer Formation of Germany.
Distribution: found only at Altenwald mine
