Type specimen: BMB 020504, a forewing. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Bed DB36c, Hard Cockle Beds, Swanage, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal marl in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
