Type specimen: Bergschule Saarbrücken 7d Ab 2, a tegmen. Its type locality is Frankenholz, which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D terrestrial horizon in the Lower Saarbrucker layer Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Frankenholz
