Sister taxa: Chrysopa glaesaria, Chrysopa miocenea, Chrysopa sarmatica, Chrysopa stavropolitana, Chrysopa vetula
Type specimen: PIN 254/2825, a forewing. Its type locality is Vishnevaya Balka creek, outcrop 4, Stavropol (PIN collection 254), which is in a Miocene lacustrine shale in the Russian Federation.
