Type specimen: QMF 44154, a forewing. Its type locality is Mount Crosby Insect locality B (QM collection), which is in a Norian lacustrine - small shale in the Mount Crosby Formation of Australia.

Distribution: found only at Mount Crosby Insect locality B (QM collection)
