Sister taxa: Yinites fuquanensis, Yinites typicalis, Yinites wanshougongensis
Type specimen: Its type locality is Daoping, bed 10, which is in a Nangaoian marine shale/limestone in the Minghsingssu Formation of China
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Cambrian of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
