Sister taxa: Margaretia chamblessi, Margaretia dorus, Margaretia ramosa, Margaretia stosei

Type specimen: USNM 95019. Its type locality is Locality 37m, shale beds (Pend Oreille Lake), which is in a Cambrian carbonate shale/limestone in the Rennie Shale Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at Locality 37m, shale beds (Pend Oreille Lake)
