Type specimen: Its type locality is Mt. Mantou, Zhangxia, BW56, which is in a Duyunian marine limestone/shale in the Maochuang Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Mt. Mantou, Zhangxia, BW56
