Type specimen: Naturhist . Ver. Bonn 11 (37), a wing. Its type locality is Dudweiler (Bergschule Saarbrucken coll), which is in a Westphalian C terrestrial horizon in the Lower Saarbrucker layer Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Altenwald mine
