Type specimens:

  • Microbiotherium patagonicum: MLP 11-30, a mandible (partial right mandibular ramus with alveoli of p1-2, part of anterior root of p3, and with m1-4 present). Its type locality is Barrancas del Río Santa Cruz, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.
  • Hadrorhynchus conspicuus: MACN 5740, a mandible (fragment of a left mandibular ramus with alveoli of i1-p1, and with p2-m1 complete). Its type locality is Cerro Observatorio, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.
  • Stylognathus diprotodontoides: MACN 5728, a mandible (left mandibular ramus with aveoli of i1-m1, and m2-4 present). Its type locality is Cerro Observatorio, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.
