Type specimen: CBI 11, a tooth. Its type locality is Jebel Chambi, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian lacustrine limestone in the Chambi Formation of Tunisia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Jebel Chambi
