Type specimen: CM 85300, a maxilla (left maxilla preserving P3-M3). Its type locality is Smiley Draw local fauna, which is in an Eocene channel sandstone in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Smiley Draw local fauna
