Type specimen: MLP 91-IX-1-107a, a set of teeth (left m3). Its type locality is Cañadon del Tordillo, which is in a Colloncuran terrestrial tuff in the Collón Cura Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cañadon del Tordillo
