Type specimen: MACN Pv SC2574, a tooth (an isolated right lower molar). Its type locality is Los Toldos Sur, Pinturas Fm., Lago Buenos Aires, Santa Cruz, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Pinturas Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
