Sister taxa: Luanthus initialis, Luantus propheticus, Luantus sompallwei, Luantus toldensis

Type specimen: MPEF-PV 5007, a mandible (right mandible fragment with m1-2). Its type locality is Bryn Gwyn (Sarmiento Fm), which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:
