Type specimen: Its type locality is Santa Rosa (LACM Loc6289), which is in a Rupelian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Yahuarango Formation of Peru.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Santa Rosa (LACM Loc. 6289)
