Type specimen: MPM 125R, a partial skeleton (Right dentary, 2 cervical & 3 sacral vertebrae, fragments of an ilium & ischium & 1 ungual). Its type locality is Raposo Tavares state road (SP-270), km 571, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Raposo Tavares state road (SP-270), km 571
