Type specimen: MLP 52-X-3-22, a maxilla (maxilla with P4-M3 and mandible with p4-m2). Its type locality is SW of Punta Hermengo, which is in a Chapadmalalan terrestrial horizon in Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution:
• Pliocene of Argentina (2 collections)
