Type specimen: VNIGRI 837/228, a shell. Its type locality is Ganu, central Alborz Mountains, which is in a Toarcian marine horizon in the Ravaza Formation of Iran.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Ganu, central Alborz Mountains
