- Pecten (Plagioctenium) cooperi: Its type locality is Tourmaline Road, south, which is in a Pliocene coastal siltstone in the San Diego Formation of California.

• Pliocene to Pleistocene of United States (14: California collections)
• Pliocene of Mexico (3), United States (1: California)
