Type specimen: USNM 562457, a test. Its type locality is USGS 5058 - Moscow Bluff [Porters Creek], which is in a Paleocene coastal claystone in the Porters Creek Formation of Alabama.

Ecology: slow-moving shallow infaunal deposit feeder-detritivore

Distribution: found only at USGS 5058 - Moscow Bluff [Porters Creek]
