Sister taxon: Pteromogoplistes grandis

Type specimen: Packard 134, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Green River (Packard Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (17: Colorado, Wyoming collections)

Total: 17 collections each including a single occurrence
