Type specimen: MBLUZ P.1396, a tooth. Its type locality is Rio La Grita, which is in a Hettangian terrestrial siltstone in the La Quinta Formation of Venezuela.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Rio La Grita
