Type specimen: QJGPM 1001, a partial skeleton (Skull consisting of the skull roof, braincase, right pterygoid, fragments of right antorbital elements (lacrimal, maxilla, palatine, ectopterygoid), right posto). Its type locality is Heba Village, Beidu Site, which is in a Jurassic terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Suining Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Heba Village, Beidu Site
